Postcard Design

Today I worked a little bit on creating a new layout for my postcards that I pass out to people from time to time. I want to print out a new batch with my newer web address (mcoyle.com) as opposed to the older one I had (meganacoyle.com). I also thought it would be good to incorporate the same font I use for my logo so that there's more of a consistency with all of the documents I make up for my artwork.

I'll probably sleep on this and then figure out whether or not to get a batch printed.

The newer version on a white background.

The older format.

And now I'm off to work on a couple of pieces before bed. It's snowing again over here! Makes me want to go outside and run around in the cold.

The newer version is better for several reasons ... it looks more fresh and open, uses a more modern font (which ties in with your other materials) and names the artwork which puts you in the league of more serious artists.

I'd say, go get them printed.

i agree with joan elizabeth and like the new version. we have two cards printed with different images to give a choice.

really like the new one..the white is not as harsh and i think having all the lettering at the bottom shows off your artwork better...your work always inspires me
