Progress Picture #4: Coney Island

I'm almost done--I think the next picture will be of the finished product.

Coney Island by Megan Coyle

I've got a lot on my "to do list" these days. At some point I'd like to finish these projects:
  1. Write and illustrate a children's book
  2. Create a black & white animal zoo series (similar to my "Hungry Hippo" collage)
  3. Start a series of scenes around D.C., Alexandria, and several other places I've visited over the years (where I've taken lots of pictures)
  4. Explore still life--expanding on my previous coffee cup series
At the moment, I've got my hands full with working on artwork for my first solo exhibition in July of 2010 and working towards my goal of completing one mini collage every week for my Etsy shop. Also, things can get a bit hectic with my two non-art-related jobs added to the mix. So many goals, so little time...well, we'll see about that. Just take one thing at a time.

You do have a lot on your list. The solo exhibition sounds very exciting but a lot of work. All the best with doing it one thing at a time.

That is a lot- I think there is tremendous power to writing it all out. Best wishes to you as you do it all one thing at a time :)

one thing at a time sounds good. slow and steady wins the race and you're doing great! hope you'll get to no. ! !

how you do this all with two other jobs is beyond me! you have a wise approach - i usually panic when everything bottlenecks and then i get nothing accomplished! ;)
